Are you calm under pressure confident working alone and committed to supporting vulnerable people We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Night Porter to join our dedicated team at Bridge Street supported living service in Shepshed.
Hours : Night shifts 21:15 to 07:45
Responsibilities- Ensuring the safety and security of the building and residents throughout the night
- Conducting regular checks (e.g. fire alarms emergency lighting extinguishers)
- Monitoring CCTV and reporting faults or incidents
- Logging and reporting repairs complaints risks and anti‑social behaviour
- Responding to emergencies and following procedures appropriately
- Maintaining accurate handover notes and communicating effectively with colleagues
- Promoting a safe clean and healthy environment for all
- Has experience working with vulnerable groups and understands professional boundaries
- Is confident working alone and using their own initiative
- Communicates clearly and listens actively
- Can remain calm and diffuse challenging situations effectively
You’ll be supported by the Project Manager and wider team with access to ongoing training and development.
