Document Controller

Document Controller – Main contractor – Loughton - £40k

Document Controller required with a Main contractor based in Essex/London.

About the Client: JRM are recruiting on behalf of an established Contractor in the London / Essex market.

Operating throughout London and the South of England they have become a well-established construction company with an excellent reputation built on expertise quality innovation and professionalism.

They have an immediate opening for a Document Controller to come on board with them and be based on a major scheme in Loughton, Essex. The role would be ideal for someone who has worked as a Document Controller for a similar sized business, or who has wokre dproject based on Large construction sites.

About the Role:

* Managing & administrating the document control system

* Uploading of the site(s) drawings

* Maintaining up to date drawing files & registers

* Printing, photocopying, collating & issuing of drawings

* Managing external distribution and recording release of documentation

* Managing, recording and distributing incoming documents

* Maintaining a central record of documents using codes and performing quality checks on all projects

About the Requirements:

* Previous experience in managing the Document Control process

* Efficient knowledge of using Outlook, Word & Excel packages.

* The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and be able to work well on your own and be a team player
