Overview

Programme Surveyor – Platform Housing Group

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our External Contracts & Delivery team to manage investment works and related issues across a region, ensuring our homes are maintained and customer satisfaction is increased.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing investment works across a region.
  • Ensuring homes meet maintenance and safety standards.
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of Platform's Asset Management Strategy.
  • Coordinating project teams, external contractors and other building consultants/professionals.
Qualifications

We are looking for:

  • Significant experience in the housing or construction industry.
  • Knowledge of Building Safety regulations, including CDM, asbestos management, site safety management and fire safety requirements.
  • Sound understanding of construction to deliver a broad range of property related activities.
  • A relevant technical qualification in construction or building services (e.g., HNC/HND in building studies or equivalent).
  • Experience of customer consultation in a planned maintenance/construction setting.
  • Knowledge of building construction, maintenance, contracts, and procurement.
  • Good management skills and experience successfully managing project teams, external contractors and liaising with other building consultants/professionals to deliver maintenance programmes.
Working Arrangements

This role is home based, but it is essential to have a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel across Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. Travel will be reimbursed from your home address as per the inland revenue mileage rates.
