THE JOBAs a Waste Truck Helper, you’ll partner with the driver and crew to support the collection of garbage and recycling materials on both residential and commercial routes. This is an active, physically intensive position that involves routinely lifting up to 75 pounds and working outdoors in all types of weather.

REQUIREMENTSWe’re seeking dependable, hardworking individuals who can handle physically demanding tasks. You should be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and working outdoors in a range of maritime weather conditions. Full PPE is mandatory, including CSA-approved steel-toed boots, a CSA-approved hard hat, a safety vest, and gloves. Experience in waste collection, construction, or other outdoor labour roles is an advantage but not essential.
