Job Overview

Retail security officer PET-1 with Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services.

• Protect customer’s property, people and assets by providing security services in accordance with Assignment Instructions.
• Deliver results that meet or exceed KPI/ SLA and support contract retention.
• Maintain compliance with UK law, security policies, and relevant legislation.
• Ensure front‑line licence and CCTV PSS SIA Licence are displayed at all times.
• Report health & safety hazards, incidents and potential threats immediately.
• Maintain accurate incident reports and record keeping.
• Follow instructions and procedures without unnecessarily challenging authority.
• Use technology to achieve key work objectives and pursue continuous professional development.
• Renew licence 16 weeks before expiry.

• SIA Licence (current).
• SC Clearance desirable.
• Front‑line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision required.
• Ability to work in a systematic, orderly way.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
