We are working with a respected manufacturer for Project Manager. This role will provide crucial management and coordination of projects working collaboratively with both clients, designers and production teams. The successful candidate will have strong organisation and project management background with the ability to managing multiple schedules, workflows and resources both internally and externally, delivering quality, timely and efficient projects to budget.

What you can expect:

• Salary:
Starting up to £35’000 per annum

• Monday – Friday – 08.30am – 5.30pm

• Permanent role based rural Herefordshire/Shropshire border

What you will be doing:

• Overseeing all aspects of projects from early conception to production and completion delivery

• Managing workshop scheduling to ensure all orders meet specified lead times

• Preparing quotations and prototypes, reporting directly to the Finance & Design teams

• On-going monitoring and analysis of costs and production processes, monitoring and implementing improvements in efficiency

• Liaising with Production Director to ensure all items are quality checked before leaving workshops

• Updating Sales team on progress of projects and timescales

• Working closely with the marketing and sales departments to ensure all information they hold is correct

• Updating and managing shared information / reference documents

• Leading and minuting weekly meetings with wider team

• Organising delivery and shipping

• Manages production budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets

• Working with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and negotiate cost-effective procurement

• Addresses and resolves any issues that arise during the production process, promptly and effectively

• Monitors and reports on production performance, including productivity, quality, and budget

• Continuously seeks to improve processes and implement innovative solutions

What we are looking for:

• Previous Project Management experience, highly organised with the ability to handle multiple moving parts under pressure

• Strong administrative and organisational abilities to manage production schedules, resources, and workflows efficiently

• Flexible, adaptable, and has a dynamic, hands-on approach to your work

• Highly efficient communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration

• Keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality standards are maintained

• Proficiency in managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective operations

• High level of numeracy and literacy, IT literate, confident across Microsoft Office
