Engineer, Construction Labor ​/ Trades

We are seeking an experienced Groundworks Engineer to support high-quality construction and civil engineering projects. This role requires strong technical skills in setting out surveys & record keeping ensuring projects are delivered accurately efficiently and to specification.

• Maintain up-to-date construction drawings registers and As-builts
• Carry out site surveys and level checks prior to commencement of works
• Confidently take overall responsibility for setting out all site elements controlling line and level
• Use Leica EDM equipment (TS06 / TS12 / TS16) for survey and layout tasks
• Verify building layout against site boundaries and resolve any discrepancies
• Take off and order all groundworks and RC frame materials (drainage waterproofing concrete rebar cast-in items etc.)
• Raise and track RFIs to resolve setting out or technical issues
• Implement site Inspection Test Plans and ensure QA standards using Flow Forma
• Raise technical submittals and proactively close out site queries
• Issue accurate records to QS and maintain thorough documentation
• Use CAD for technical drawings and site plans

• Valid CSCS card
• Proven experience in groundworks surveys and enabling works
• Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail
• Proactive reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other trades and operatives
• Right to work in the UK
