Womenswear Nightwear Designer

Our client, a well-established fashion supplier, is seeking a talented Nightwear Designer to join their creative team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple key accounts, designing nightwear collections for leading UK and international retailers and supermarkets. If you have a strong background in ladies' nightwear design and a passion for creating commercially successful collections, this role could be the perfect next step in your career.

You'll be joining a friendly and stable team within a creative, supportive environment, with the added benefits of hybrid working and international travel. Main responsibilities will include:
Conduct in-depth trend research to develop seasonal mood boards, colour palettes, and fabric stories Design innovative, trend-led, and commercially viable nightwear collections Collaborate closely with the team on fabric, print, and trim selection Manage the full sample development process, ensuring fit, construction, and quality standards are met Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform design direction and product development

Person Specification:

Proven experience designing ladies' nightwear

Experience with in either a supplier or retail environment Strong commercial awareness with excellent trend forecasting skills Confident communication and presentation abilities Solid understanding of garment construction and sustainable practices Highly detail-oriented, adaptable, and self-motivated
