During your apprenticeship you will:

• Spend the first 2 years of the 4.5‑year programme rotating through different electronics disciplines to identify where your strengths and interests lie.
• Move into a final placement from your third year, joining a specialist team of engineers and working within Integrated Project Teams to design and test new and existing products.
• Attend university on a mixture of day and block‑day release to complete the Embedded Electronics & Systems Design Apprenticeship (ST0151) which results in a BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• Record learning activities and evidence of competency throughout the programme; complete a final project as part of your degree.

What we need from you:

120 UCAS Points at A’Level to include Maths and Physics, BTEC Extended Diploma or equivalent and 5 GCSE grades 4‑9 or grades A‑C (or equivalent). Mandatory English, Maths and Science plus 2 additional subjects.

Pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply. For more information and guidance please visit
