ARE YOU OUR NEXT SOLUTIONS ENGINEER – CLOUD & INTEGRATION?Are you passionate about building the future of Axis beyond security? Can you lead the intersection of technology, integration, and business development? We are looking for a forward-thinking Solutions Engineer to drive our cloud and integration initiatives across EMEA. The preferred location for this role is one of our major offices:
Lund, Sweden;
Luton, England;
Munich, Germany or Paris, France.
As a Solutions Engineer – Cloud & Integration, your expertise will help Axis identify, shape, and scale new solution opportunities to generate value in existing systems and beyond traditional video surveillance. You will collaborate closely with our regional sales teams, strategic partners, and product/R&D colleagues to drive early-stage business opportunities that involve technical integrations, go-to-market design, and reusable solution packaging. You will act as the technical interface between partners, sales, and product management in early-stage deals as well as independently drive projects with your expertise.
You will find and enable solutions that support business needs in areas such as operational efficiency (e.g., reducing manual processes through automation or connected systems), business intelligence (e.g., collecting and using data for better decisions and performance tracking), and process monitoring (e.g., ensuring that workflows, environments, or equipment are functioning optimally and visibly).
Main Responsibilities- Engage our existing partners with new types of integration partners who can connect with Axis Cloud Connect and related technologies.
- Work with those partners to lead proof‑of‑concept initiatives, showing how integrated solutions can serve vertical‑specific needs.
- Package offerings and develop enablement material that help scale those solutions across EMEA.
- Educate and empower both the technical community and the sales organization to understand and communicate the value of Axis Cloud Connect–based integrations.
- Provide structured feedback to Axis HQ, ensuring that what we learn in the field helps shape the roadmap and strategic direction for future integrations and cloud services.
- Drive and support new integrations, proof of concepts, and pilots with non‑traditional partners and existing channel partners.
- Package and promote Axis Cloud Connect in combination with our hardware and software portfolio.
- Support field teams in pre‑sales discussions involving cloud and API topics.
This role involves travel for customer meetings, pilots, and visits to our HQ in Lund, Sweden, as well as other EMEA locations.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?We are looking for a creative and commercially minded team player with strong experience in software integrations and business solution development. You enjoy bridging business problems with technical capabilities and can confidently work across multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally. You bring the ability to shape new offerings from early conversations to field success. This is a role that combines pre‑sales engineering, solution design and business development.
It is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from scratch, and is motivated by creating repeatable, scalable solutions that unlock new growth for Axis in adjacent industries. If we give you free access to our APIs, a WebRTC stream and a customer environment your task would be to assist our partners in the API integration.
- Strong understanding of software‑to‑software integration via APIs, SDKs, and cloud platforms.
- API Proficiency:
Strong experience with Graph
QL (querying, mutations) and REST APIs. Familiarity with VAPIX is a strong plus. - Cloud & Identity Security:
Hands‑on experience with modern authentication standards, specifically OAuth 2.0 (OpenID Connect) and JWT flows. - Proven ability to package, explain, and promote new technical concepts internally and externally.
