Our client GKN () is currently sourcing for a Goods Inwards Material Handler to work at their facility in Luton (postcode LU2 9PQ
).

• Use adequate equipment to move material i.e. Forklift
• Off‑loading of vehicles
• Use SAP (ERP system) to replenish and/or transfer materials prior to delivering lineside
• Pick & deliver materials using various trolleys, pallet trucks and lifting equipment
• Locate stock in designated storage locations post goods receipt
• Inventory cycle counting of stores and lineside stock
• Dispose of scrap materials and hazardous waste
• Maintain stock accuracy
• Support Goods in receiving and booking in
• Record movement of material in the transactional record systems
• Follow standard work for material handling
• Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rules
• Make proposals to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
• React to changes in demand on materials requirements and monitor visual replenishment requirements
• Maintain a clean work environment including assigned storage monitoring and cleaning duties
• Ensure compliance with the company's environmental, health and safety and energy procedures
• Comply with Logistics procedure

• Physically fit (role involves being on your feet for long periods as well as large amount of lifting/carrying)
• Familiarity with warehouse environment
• Previous forklift truck driving experience beneficial
• Prior SAP experience beneficial
• Prior Material Handler / Goods Inwards / Store keeping experience beneficial
