- Job Summary    As a Workshop Cleaner, Shunter, and Fueler, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of buses is presented to the highest standards of cleanliness, correctly positioned for service, and adequately fueled for their routes. This is a crucial role in maintaining the operational readiness and public image of Arriva The Shires Limited.

- Job Responsibilities
Workshop Cleaning:
Perform thorough cleaning of Workshop around and inside pits, including sweeping, mopping, wiping down all surfaces    Clean and sanitize washroom facilities.
Undertake exterior bus washing using automated washing equipment or manual methods as required.
Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with company procedures.
Report any damage or maintenance issues identified during cleaning to the appropriate department.
Vehicle Shunting:
Safely and efficiently move buses within the depot premises, ensuring they are parked in designated areas for maintenance, fueling, or departure.
Maneuver buses for washing, fueling, and parking, adhering to all depot safety regulations and speed limits.
Assist with the preparation of vehicles for service, including checking basic fluid levels and tire pressures as instructed.
Vehicle Fueling:
Operate fueling equipment to refuel buses accurately and safely.
Monitor fuel levels and report any discrepancies or issues with fueling equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the fueling area and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
General Duties:
Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment within the depot.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
