Workshop Controller

Workshop Controller / HGV Technician required for a Successful Automotive commercial workshop in the Lutterworth area. Our client is seeking a Workshop Controller / HGV Technician to join their busy service department, and it is essential that you have a previous working experience within a busy Automotive Workshop.

• Oversee daily workshop operations, including job allocation, workflow planning, and maintaining high productivity levels
• Provide technical guidance, support, and mentoring to the workshop team
• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of HGVs and trailers
• Diagnose complex faults and complete repairs to VOSA and manufacturer standards

• Experienced HGV Technician with extensive workshop background
• Previous supervisory, team leader, or controller experience highly desirable
• Recognised heavy vehicle qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities
• IRTEC licence (advantageous)

Hours of work for this Workshop Controller / HGV Technician role are Monday to Friday, 40 hours.

The OTE for this Workshop Controller / HGV Technician role is £52,000.
