About the RoleAs a Junior Supply Chain & Quality Coordinator, you will work with internal teams, factories, and inspection partners to ensure all products meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will manage specifications, review samples, track inspection outcomes, and support smooth, efficient operations.
This is a hands‑on role for someone analytical, methodical, and process‑driven, who enjoys working in FMCG and wants to build expertise in supply chain, quality assurance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain product specifications, inspection criteria, and quality standards
- Review pre‑production and production samples for quality and compliance
- Support quality assurance processes and compliance documentation
- Work with Far East factories and suppliers to resolve non‑conformances
- Track and report inspection results and quality trends
- Collaborate with NPD, Operations, and Supply Chain teams on production readiness
- Manage document control, version accuracy, and order documentation
- Communicate updates across internal teams and external partners
- Provide operational support to the Operations Director
- 18 months to 2+ years in supply chain, quality control, technical coordination, or product operations
- FMCG, consumer goods, or product‑based experience (beauty, homeware, lifestyle, packaging) highly desirable
- Experience with Far East suppliers is an advantage
- Strong administration, organisation, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office; familiarity with inspection systems a plus
- Confident reviewing samples, measurements, and inspection data
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and hands‑on
- Methodical, structured, and process‑focused
- Positive can‑do attitude and team player
- Flexible and adaptable, able to balance analytical and practical tasks
- Keen to develop technical and quality expertise
- Circa GBP
32,000 DOE - 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
