Store Manager

DEBRA UK – Lytham St Annes, England

Base pay range

Salary: £24,733.80 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full‑Time (35 hours per week)

What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of staff and volunteers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shop environment.
  • Manage stock generation, rotation, pricing, and merchandising.
  • Design creative and eye‑catching window and in‑store displays.
  • Ensure compliance with Gift Aid procedures and policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all retail operations comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers.
  • Handle donations, including lifting and manual handling of stock.
  • Use internal systems and digital platforms confidently for reporting and communication.
  • Ensure health & safety, safeguarding, and data protection standards are upheld at all times.
What We Are Looking For
  • Proven retail management experience (charity retail experience is a plus).
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach with a positive attitude.
  • Confidence in using IT systems and managing retail administration.
  • A commitment to DEBRA’s mission and values.
