Team midwifery will provide antenatal and postnatal care and support to pregnant individuals and new mothers and their families within their local community, offering personalised care, antenatal reviews health education, and emotional support in settings like clinics, GP surgeries, and at home.

We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Midwives who have excellent interpersonal and clinical skills, who can work well as part of the multi-disciplinary team and can work under pressure in a variety of roles. You will become a valued member of an innovative team and will help us to excel further to deliver our Trust objectives and values.
We are offering a variety of hours available for a permanent and fixed term contracts.
Please note this role is for a Band 6 midwife, applications who have not completed their Band 5 midwifery preceptorship will not be considered.
Main duties of the jobWe welcome applications from Graduate visa holders; it is important to note that you must have a minimum of 6 months before this expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.

As part of the East Cheshire Midwifery services you will be expected to provide high standards of clinical care throughout the pregnancy continuum and fulfil the role of an active member of the midwifery team.
We are very open and keen for innovative ideas and new ways of working to provide flexibility for our staff and the best experience for our women and families. Within this role you are required to participate in the on-call rota as required in the provision of the 24-hour service.
