Adult Social Worker – Community Team (Macclesfield, Cheshire East Council)

£37 per hour

Cheshire East Council is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join their Community Team in Macclesfield
, helping to support adults in the local area to live independently and improve their quality of life.

In this role, you will:

• Undertake assessments and reviews in line with Care Act requirements

• Support adults with complex needs to achieve positive outcomes

• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and partner agencies

• Contribute to safeguarding practice and risk management

• Promote independence and well-being across the community

Requirements:

• Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma in Social Work or equivalent)

• Current registration with Social Work England

• Previous experience within adult services/community teams is highly desirable

• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policy, and practice guidance
