Job SummaryDeliver an enriching activities programme for the elderly at Brooklands Nursing Home. You will design, coordinate, and run a range of social activities that meet residents' individual interests and support their well‑being.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordinate and deliver an innovative programme of social activities for residents throughout the year.
- Plan person‑centred activities that cover a broad spectrum, including beauty, relaxation, arts & crafts, music and theatre.
- Ensure all associated documentation is completed and evidence is kept in line with our standards.
- Support fundraising initiatives where required, drawing on previous experience.
- Provide both group and one‑to‑one activities, and motivate residents to participate.
- Previous experience delivering activities within a care home setting is desirable.
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and equipped with the skills to create a varied programme of group and individual activities.
- Experience in fundraising is an advantage.
Hours – 30 hours per week
Salary – £22,000 per annum
