Summary
Join our client's team as an Estimator, working across refurbishment and new-build projects throughout the South East. You will take responsibility for reviewing project documentation, preparing detailed cost estimates and supporting tender submissions for a high performing main contractor.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, detailed and competitive tenders within agreed deadlines

• Review drawings, specifications and project information to prepare full cost breakdowns

• Estimate materials, labour, plant and subcontractor packages for projects up to £10m

• Identify risks, challenges and value engineering opportunities within tender packages

• Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners

• Liaise with internal teams to ensure clarity on scope, pricing and assumptions

• Maintain organised records of tender documentation and correspondence

• Support compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and company procedures

Qualifications

• Proven Estimator experience within a main contractor environment

• Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials and processes

• Ability to produce accurate cost estimates across refurbishment and new-build schemes

• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail

• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
