Hill McGlynn is proud to be working in partnership with a leading contractor within the healthcare sector. They are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor based in their Maidstone office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering a strong pipeline of refurbishment and new build healthcare projects across the South East. You'll be part of a supportive commercial team with genuine opportunities for career development.
The RoleAs an Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will support the commercial team across multiple healthcare projects, assisting in the effective financial management from pre-construction through to final account.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with cost management and budget control
- Supporting the preparation of valuations, variations and final accounts
- Assisting with subcontractor procurement and package management
- Supporting monthly cost/value reporting
- Working closely with project teams to ensure commercial success
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Quantity Surveying or Assistant Quantity Surveying role
- Experience working with a main contractor (preferred)
- Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills
- Ambitious, proactive and keen to progress within a growing business
- Competitive salary £30,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)
