Debt Recovery Customer Executive

Job Description

We are working with a well‑established Legal firm that are looking for a Debt Recovery Customer Executive to work within their busy Collections and Recovery team based in Maidstone.

This role would be well suited for a person who has come from a Customer Service / Call Centre background who is looking for a new challenge and career change.

• You will be a proactive, forward thinking individual with a positive attitude towards your work.
• You will enjoy working in a fast paced environment and will be self‑motivated and enjoy working towards goals and targets.
• You will possess excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal and enjoy communicating to people via the telephone.

• Taking ownership and responsibility of debt recovery cases.
• You will be required to research and analyse cases, deciding what the best case of action is for each case.
• Checking and producing documents and outgoing letters.
• You will communicate with debtors to find the most constructive solutions.
• You will make sure all debts are collected on time.
• For this role you will need to have at least 5 GCSE’s A – C (including English and Mathematics), with further qualifications being desirable.

8am – 6pm Monday to Friday, You will be required to follow a shift pattern 8am to 4pm and 10am to 6pm on alternate weeks.

In return for this you will earn a competitive salary of £19,016 with an OTE of circa £28,000.
