Alice Rose Recruitment are exclusively hiring a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing maintenance division supporting commercial office buildings across London and the Home Counties.

This role offers strong job security, varied work and long-term career development within a close-knit engineering team.

This is an ideal position for a mechanically biased engineer with solid building services experience, confidence working independently, and the ability to deliver both PPM and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical systems.

Mobile Mechanical Engineer Role:

As a Mobile Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering PPM, reactive maintenance and fault-finding on a range of mechanical systems across commercial office-type buildings.

Mobile Mechanical Engineer

Key Duties:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with SFG
20 standards across mechanical systems such as HVAC, VRV/VRF, split systems, pumps, pressurisation units, unvented/vented water systems, plumbing services, waste pumps and trace heating.

* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults quickly and efficiently.

* Respond to emergency callouts (1 in 5 rota).

* Complete electronic service reports and site records accurately and on time.

* Supervise specialist subcontractors and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.

* Report remedial works and provide accurate repair recommendations.

* Build strong working relationships with clients and represent the company professionally.

What We're Looking For:

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a mechanical building services maintenance role.

* Mechanical qualifications such as City & Guilds Level 2 or Level 3, C&Gor equivalent.

* HVAC-related qualification (C&Gdesirable.

* SSSTS / CITB Site Safety qualification beneficial.

* Strong technical fault-finding ability across commercial mechanical plant.

* Confident communicator with strong customer-facing skills.

* Full UK driving licence.

* £50,000 – £55,000 basic salary
