Management Accountant

A growing multi-entity organisation is seeking a proactive and highly skilled Management Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment, enjoys improving systems and processes, and can deliver accurate financial information under tight deadlines.

• Producing monthly management accounts and supporting reports
• Controlling and reviewing purchase & sales ledgers, petty cash, and card transactions
• Completing monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Posting payroll journals and maintaining working papers
• Managing inter-company transactions
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset register
• Preparing VAT and regulatory returns
• Supporting the statutory audit process
• Contributing to the development of financial systems and procedures

• The successful candidate will be a part‑qualified or ACA, ACCA, CIMA fully qualified accountant
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, V / H lookups)
• Experience with ERP or business management systems (Xero / Navision desirable)
• Excellent organisational skills and an ability to meet deadlines
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information
• A commercial mindset and a willingness to adopt a hands‑on approach
