A Private Client Tax Manager is sought to manage, develop, and grow the tax department within a prominent professional services firm. The role is primarily based near Maidstone, encompassing a broad range of tax-related responsibilities.

• Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of tax clients
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns
• Provide high-quality tax advisory services to clients (70% advisory / 30% compliance)
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Identify and act on cross-selling opportunities within the firm
• Mentor junior staff within the practice
• Stay updated on changing tax legislation and its potential impact
• Contribute to business development initiatives within the professional services industry

• A relevant degree, and professional qualifications in tax (CTA preferred)
• Proven experience in managing a tax portfolio
• Strong tax advisory and compliance skills
• Excellent client relationship management skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Good understanding of the professional services industry

• A competitive salary in the range of £55,000 - £65,000 per year
