General Service Assistant - Defence Sector

Permanent, 32 hours per week | £12.21 per hour | 5 days a week

Shift times between 8 am and 8 pm

Aramark UK is proud to support the Defence sector, and we're looking for a General Service Assistant to join our team at Invicta Park. If you're passionate about great service and want to be part of a team that makes a difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.

• Serve food and beverages to customers
• Clean back‑of‑house areas, crockery, and cutlery
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, preparation, and public areas
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made‑to‑order services
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
• Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during the work
• Perform daily paperwork
• Keep diligent records as required
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures

• £12.21 per hour
• 32 hours/week, 5 days out of 7

• A friendly, customer‑focused attitude
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a bonus – but not essential, full training provided
• Must be 18+
• Eligibility to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years (security clearance required)
• Basic numeracy skills
• Own or reliable transport required due to remote location and limited public transport
• Ability to work a variety of shifts
