Venue Sales Representative

Overview

Octopus Energy has opportunities to join our field sales team as a Venue Sales Representative. We’re changing the landscape of traditional field sales and marketing and reinventing customer interactions. We're focused on making energy greener and better, for everyone. You’ll be at the frontline of our brand and responsible for showing the best of Octopus Energy to the public.

• As a Venue Sales Representative, you’ll be out and about, engaging face-to-face with customers at events, retail spaces, or door-knocking in local communities to promote our energy tariffs and low-carbon technologies like solar panels, heat pumps, and electric vehicles.
• Help introduce Octopus Energy as a preferred supplier by comparing services and products with other energy companies so customers can decide if switching to us would benefit their energy supply at home.
• Ensure every conversation delivers outstanding customer service.

• No sales experience is necessary; training will be provided. If you love engaging and exciting customers, have confidence, and enjoy delivering excellent customer service, we want to hear from you.
• High energy and ability to confidently communicate with potential customers.
• Experience in a customer-centric setting with quick and effective customer solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with your team to influence and inspire.
• Clear communicator with strong listening and attention to detail.
• Honest, focused, and committed to delivering high levels of customer service.
• A driving licence to travel to venues across locations.
• Able to work weekend and evening shifts.

• £26,300 salary plus uncapped commission ( realistic commission earnings of £10,000+ per year).
