Yard / Warehouse Operative ( FORKLIFT ) - Headcorn

We are partnering with a well-established logistics client in Headcorn who is looking to add an experienced Yard/Warehouse Operative to their team. This role offers consistent hours, varied duties, and the chance to work within a busy and supportive yard environment.

Shift Start: 06:00

Hours:

Minimum 8 hours (potential to extend to 10-12 hours when required)

To be considered, candidates must hold a valid forklift licence and have solid experience operating within a warehouse or yard setting. You will also need experience with:

• Unloading from the upper deck of double-decker trailers
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.

The successful applicant will support daily yard and warehouse operations, carrying out tasks such as:

• Beginning the shift at 06:00
• Unloading double-decker trailers on arrival
• Scanning pallets and completing stock checks
• Loading vans, 7.5T, 18T, and artic vehicles
• Safely manoeuvring trailers and vehicles within the yard
• General housekeeping and maintaining a tidy, safe working environment
• Undertaking occasional ad-hoc tasks
• Reloading returning vehicles as needed
• Assisting with evening loading for double-deckers, including scanning and securing curtains
