We are looking to hire a first‑rate Senior Engineer. As a leader within the team, you are both a technical SME as well as a people leader. You are happy to get ‘on the tools’ bringing your experience building robust, scalable, and maintainable architecture as we evolve our technology. You’re also able to lead; able to ‘be Frank’, coaching and mentoring those you manage and those in your squad to improve continuously.

In this role, you will work with leaders who have significant engineering experience and can relate to the challenges that engineering teams face. Frankie One is a global team, and in this particular role you are expected to have at least 6 hours of overlapping working hours with AEDT/AEST timezone.

• 8 plus years experience in software engineering teams in an Agile environment
• Minimum of 5 years working with Go Lang
• Minimum of 5 years designing, developing & deployment web applications in cloud hosted SaaS applications in AWS/Cloud ecosystem.
• At least 5 years building modular microservices in Golang with OpenAPI/Swagger to define, create, use and mock API services.
• Experience as Full Stack Engineer with Nodejs (typescript) and Reactjs for frontend systems is highly preferred
• Experience with relational databases such as Postgres
• Experience with non‑relational databases such as AWS DynamoDB
• Experience with object store services such as AWS S3
• Experience with application integration services SNS, SQS, Event Bridge
• Experience with containerized services ECS, EKS
• Experience with unit testing using the golang test framework
• Experience with building and maintaining quality practices within an engineering team
• Experience with security practices such as OWASP Top 10, linting, HTTPS, mTLS/TLS, cryptography (envelope encryption and decryption, AWS KMS).
• Experience in designing web applications based on AWS well architectured principles, 12 factor apps, cloud based software architecture patterns (pub‑sub, saga, circuit breaker etc).
• Built solid experience in using testing frameworks like Playwright and Karate.
• Experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs with JSON payloads
• Design and estimate software work, basic BA Skills, Work breakdown into epics, stories with dependencies
• Presented on topics at a team and squad level
• Exposure to working with CI/CD pipelines, Github Actions, Terraform, and the AWS ecosystem.
• Experience in using modern tools like Git Hub Copilot, Slack, JIRA, Miro
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Work collaboratively with a global team environment
• Experience working in ISO
  27001, SOC2 and SaaS environments.

• AWS (Associate/Professional Level) Certification (optional)
• Exposure to Dev Sec Ops  practices (optional)
