Shift: 18:00 – 06:00, 4 days on, 4 days off

Salary: £32,000 per annum

As the Hygiene Team Leader you will support the hygiene functions on a day‑to‑day basis, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene are delivered at all times.

• Ensure the cleanliness of all production machinery without compromising equipment through water ingress or negligence.
• Provide leadership and direction to the hygiene community, engaging and empowering team members to deliver their potential.
• Work closely with the Hygiene Supervisor to develop and maintain training plans and support mechanisms for ongoing development.
• Maintain the hygiene management system (HMS) and records, taking appropriate actions to ensure good hygiene practice (GHP) adherence.
• Check concentrations of cleaning chemicals prior to use and accurately record results.
• Complete all cleaning documentation promptly.

• Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and environmental factors relevant to the company’s hygiene function.
• Experienced team leader with a positive work attitude and hands‑on approach.
• COSHH trained in the safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Good attention to detail and competent with Microsoft Office.
• Experience in the food industry is advantageous.

• Salary £32,000 per annum.
