Tech Lead; DevOps Expertise

We’re seeking an experienced Tech Lead with strong backend, Dev Ops, and leadership skills to take our platform’s technical delivery. You will oversee development progress, provide hands‑on contributions where needed, guide the dev team, and ensure our infrastructure is stable, secure, and production‑ready.

** Key Responsibilities
**

Leadership & Delivery

• Lead the technical direction of the EZClass project and drive it to completion.
• Oversee daily progress, ensuring milestones are met and blockers are resolved quickly.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and management to align priorities.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the development team.

Backend Development

• Maintain and optimize core services built with NestJS, Express
  
  JS (legacy), Postgre
  
  SQL, Redis, and Next.js (frontend awareness is a plus).
• Ensure proper API design, scalability, and security.
• Manage integrations with third‑party services (Zoom, Stripe, Excalidraw).

Dev Ops & Infrastructure

• Own infrastructure hosted on Digital Ocean (staging & production) with Docker orchestration.
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  , monitoring, and logging.
• Manage deployments and ensure uptime, security, and scalability.
• Optimize caching, performance tuning, and DDoS protection.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure code quality, testing coverage, and best practices.
• Guarantee platform compliance with GDPR and PCI‑DSS standards.
• Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and technical architecture.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead / Senior Engineer
  , ideally in EdTech or SaaS.
• Hands‑on expertise with NestJS, Node.js, Postgre
  
  SQL, Redis, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
  .
• Solid Dev Ops background
  , preferably with Digital Ocean, Vercel, and cloud security practices.
• Strong knowledge of scalability, performance tuning, and production support
  .
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills — able to bring clarity and drive projects across the finish line.
• Familiarity with GDPR compliance and secure systems design
  .

Nice to Have

• Experience with Zoom SDKs, Stripe payments, or similar SaaS integrations
  .
• Knowledge of multi‑tenant SaaS architecture
  .
• Exposure to front‑end frameworks (Next.js/React) for cross‑collaboration.
