Senior Accountant – Bahrain

Location: Manama, Bahrain

Gulf Shade is a leading contracting company in Bahrain, specializing in innovative shading solutions, steel structures, and architectural projects. With a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our finance team and seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and reporting.

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions: general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Bahrain & KSA standards.
• Oversee cost accounting and project-based financial tracking for ongoing contracts.
• Handle VAT filing and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies for reporting and compliance.
• Review and approve journal entries, expense reports, and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, forecast budgets, and support management with financial analysis.
• Maintain and improve internal control systems and accounting processes.
• Manage
  Accounts Payable (AP):
  review, approve, process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments.
• Manage
  Accounts Receivable (AR):
  issue invoices, follow up on collections, reconcile customer accounts.

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA/ACCA preferred).
• Minimum
  10 years of accounting experience
  in the construction or contracting industry.
• Applicants must be based in
  Bahrain or KSA
  .
• Strong knowledge of Bahrain & KSA VAT laws, labor regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (
  Odoo experience is an advantage
  ).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
