Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, and ensure compliance with company policies and Bahrain financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage full‑cycle accounting activities and daily financial operations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Perform bank, vendor, and intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure timely month‑end and year‑end closing
- Monitor cash flow and prepare management reports
- Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with Bahrain laws, VAT regulations, and company policies
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and Bahrain VAT regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
