Talentspoc is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neonatologist Consultant to join our esteemed medical team in Bahrain. In this key role, you will provide expert care for newborns, particularly those who are critically ill or born prematurely, in our advanced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). You will collaborate with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and specialized medical care for our youngest patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough assessments and providing treatment plans for neonates with various medical conditions
  • Offering expert consultations and guidance to medical staff regarding complex neonatal cases
  • Caring for infants requiring life support and advanced therapeutic techniques
  • Communicating effectively with families to educate and support them throughout their infants' care journey
  • Participating in training and mentoring junior staff and medical residents in neonatal care
  • Engaging in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and health outcomes
  • Staying updated with the latest advancements in neonatology and attending relevant medical conferences
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution
  • Completion of a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Neonatology
  • Board certification in Neonatology is mandatory
  • Active medical license to practice in Bahrain or eligibility for licensure
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a NICU setting preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in neonatal care and medical decision‑making
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on family‑centered care
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and fast‑paced environment
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
