Mechanical Design Engineer; Pressure Vessels & Heat Exchangers
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in the mechanical design of pressure vessels, process columns, shell & tube heat exchangers, and air fin coolers.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical design calculations, fabrication drawings, and a deep understanding of ASME Section VIII Div.
1 & 2, TEMA, API, and related standards. Experience in PV Elite or Compress design software is essential.
Lead design and engineering activities for pressure vessels, columns, and heat exchangers.
Perform mechanical design calculations for internal/external pressure, nozzle loads, and wind/seismic analysis.
Prepare fabrication drawings, datasheets, and material specifications.
Coordinate with project, fabrication, and inspection teams for design compliance.
Ensure all designs meet international standards and client requirements.
4–8 years of experience in pressure vessel and heat exchanger design.
Proficient in PV Elite / Compress / AutoCAD.
Sound understanding of ASME Section VIII, TEMA, API 660/661, and ANSI standards.
Experience with fabrication shops or manufacturing teams preferred.
Strong documentation and client coordination skills.
