Barber
We are in search of a skilled Barber to join our team in Manama. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing barbering services to our clients. This includes cutting, trimming, and styling hair as well as offering beard and mustache grooming services. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the art of barbering and possess excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities- Greet clients and consult with them about their desired hairstyles
- Cut, trim, and shape hair according to client preferences
- Provide beard and mustache grooming services
- Shampoo and condition hair as needed
- Style hair using various techniques such as blow drying, flat ironing, and curling
- Keep work station clean and sanitized at all times
- Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and products
- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude towards clients at all times
- Proven experience as a Barber or Hair Stylist
- Excellent knowledge of hair cutting techniques and styles for both men and women
- Ability to use various barbering tools such as clippers, scissors, razors, etc.
- Good communication skills with the ability to listen to client needs and provide appropriate recommendations/suggestions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; certificate or diploma in Barbering preferred but not required
- Valid Barber/Cosmetology license from the state/country where employed (if applicable)
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations related to barbering services
- Basic math skills for handling transactions with clients
As a contract employee, the salary for this position will be $1300 per month. Accommodation will be provided by the company.
