We are looking for a dynamic Deputy Store Manager to join our team and support the Store Manager in driving sales, elevating customer experience, and ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Operations- Drive store sales by communicating targets and ensuring execution to achieve financial objectives.
- Manage daily store operations, visual merchandising, and customer service delivery in line with GMG standards.
- Maintain loss-prevention procedures and ensure compliance in cash handling, fraud checks, and product security.
- Oversee all POS activities including transactions, payment processing, returns/refunds, and inventory updates.
- Handle petty cash, POS cash elements, and ensure accurate cash controls.
- Conduct regular store audits, assist in annual stock counts, and perform spot checks.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and implement corrective actions.
- Gather and report customer feedback to enhance service quality.
- Track sales performance, monitor market trends, and analyze competitor activities to propose growth strategies.
- Review sales reports and provide actionable insights to maximize stock efficiency.
- Report performance of new and core collections.
- Maintain high-quality window and in-store displays as per VM guidelines.
- Oversee stock availability, order management, stock movement, and overall inventory accuracy (stock aging, stock loss, space management).
- Coordinate with facilities for store maintenance, repairs, and equipment replacements.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels and prepare store schedules.
- Plan for seasonal peaks and promotional events when preparing forecasts and rosters.
- Set KPIs for the team and ensure effective performance management.
- Mentor, coach, and develop store team members to build strong talent pipelines.
- Foster a culture of continuous feedback and improvement.
