Site Manager – New Build & Refurbishment Projects (up to £15m)
Location: North West (Manchester / Liverpool / Lancashire / Cheshire)
Salary: Competitive + Car/Allowance + Benefits

About the OpportunityWe are working with a respected and growing construction contractor who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a range of new build and refurbishment schemes across the North West. Projects typically range up to £15 million in value and span sectors including commercial, residential, public sector, education, and mixed-use developments.

Role Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to required quality standards
- Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers with clear communication and direction
- Implement and maintain health & safety procedures, site documentation, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate site logistics, scheduling, and material deliveries
- Work closely with Project/Contracts Managers to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships
- Oversee quality control, inspections, and snagging processes
- Drive productivity and ensure high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering construction projects up to £15m
- Strong track record across both new build and refurbishment schemes
- Knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and best practice
- Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractor packages and a fast-moving site environment
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
