Product Developer / Garment Technologist – Men's Premium Streetwear Brand

Central Manchester

Our client is a successful and rapidly expanding British streetwear/lifestyle label, founded in 2019, focusing on monthly limited releases that maintain rarity and desirability. They sell T‑shirts, hoodies, quarter‑zips, Cuban shirts, sweatpants, jackets, etc., featuring clean and vintage‑inspired graphics, luxury weight fabrics, and excellent craftsmanship.

We are looking for an experienced Menswear Product Developer / Garment Technologist to join their team in Central Manchester. The ideal candidate has strong skills in garment construction, design, CAD (Illustrator/Photoshop), and quality control within the streetwear industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the product line.
  • Conduct fitting sessions to assess and improve garment construction, fit, and overall quality.
  • Garment Development:
    Assist with new product designs and the selection of fabrics and materials.
  • Create and maintain tech packs using CAD software such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
  • Quality Control:
    Implement and manage processes to ensure garments meet brand standards.
  • Factory

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with garment factories to ensure technical specifications are met during production.
  • Textile Knowledge:
    Utilize knowledge of textiles to contribute to product development and innovation.

    Technical Expertise:
    Strong skills in garment construction, fitting, and pattern‑making.
  • Software Proficiency:
    Ability to use CAD software (Illustrator/Photoshop) for design and technical drawings.
  • Creative Thinking:

  • Quality & Detail: A strong focus on detail and a commitment to maintaining high‑quality standards.

    Excellent communication skills for collaborating with designers, factories, and other team members.
