As a Visual Designer, you will bring our digital experiences to life through story‑driven design and collaboration with a full design multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Apply creative thinking to solve complex problems and simplify them for users
- Design production assets, infographics, logos and other visual elements
- Create engaging digital experiences, designing interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Make everyday interactions interesting and visually exciting
- Support the scaling and refining of our digital design system
- Master storytelling techniques to help the business communicate effectively
- Create prototypes using Figma (required) and Adobe Creative Suite; use Microsoft tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Acrobat where appropriate
- Collaborate effectively within agile teams to uncover priorities, visualise outcomes, and define scope
- Engage with design communities to understand objectives and opportunities aligned with good customer outcomes
- Design and layout user interfaces, skillfully applying components from a central design system to balance content and UI elements on screen
- Ensure designs meet specifications and accessibility standards for a diverse range of users
- Demonstrable experience in Visual Design
- A collaborative mindset ready to support a busy multidisciplinary team
- Experience in solving visual design challenges and delivering experience‑led brand digital journeys
- High energy and enthusiasm for elevating visual design across products
- Understanding of and contribution to a digital design system with advocacy for accessibility standards
- Ability to collaborate with researchers, content designers, service designers and interaction designers
- Strong delivery skills: communicating with developers to ensure designs meet specifications and can be used by all users, regardless of background, age or ability
