BBC Children's & Education creates inspiring, educational, and entertaining content for young audiences across the UK. From digital platforms like BBC Bitesize and CBBC to campaigns such as CBeebies Parenting, our work helps children learn, grow, and explore the world around them.
As a Production Apprentice with Children's & Education, you'll be part of a creative and fast-paced team making content that inspires, educates, and entertains children across the UK.
YOUR
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT As a Production Apprentice, this is brilliant opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute - you could be:
Supporting shoots, including capturing behind-the-scenes and social content.
Helping develop ideas for You Tube spin-offs, CBBC games, and digital campaigns.
Assisting with research, scripting, and creating web pages for BBC Bitesize and BBC Teach.
Contributing to planning and logistics for projects like 500 Words or the Bitesize Schools Tour.
Learning how to schedule content and support production across social media platforms like Tik Tok, Instagram, and You Tube.
You'll be learning both on and off the job. This means that as well as learning on your placement at the BBC, you'll also attend learning blocks (up to a week at a time) with our learning provider, working towards an industry recognised apprenticeship qualification - Level 3 Production Assistant. Learning blocks will be a mixture of in-person and virtual delivery.
