An established and fast-growing architectural studio based in North Manchester is looking to appoint an experienced Architectural Technician. You will be involved in producing high-quality architectural drawings and design work across all stages of a project. The role offers a good level of responsibility and client exposure, with the opportunity to contribute ideas and influence design outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Preparing existing and proposed architectural drawings
- Producing original design solutions in response to client briefs
- Delivering detailed drawings for planning and building regulations
- Liaising with clients, planning authorities, and building control
- Coordinating input from external consultants, including structural engineers and planning specialists
This role would suit a motivated individual with strong technical and design experience who is comfortable managing their own workload and working collaboratively within a studio environment.
Key Requirements:- Minimum of 7 years' experience within an architectural practice
- Proficient in Revit
- Strong understanding of UK planning policy and building regulations
- Confident verbal and written communication skills
- Well‑organised, proactive, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
