Architectural Technician

Location:

Northamptonshire

Salary: £38-44,000

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Architectural Technician to join a reputable and growing architectural practice in Northamptonshire. This role provides the chance to contribute to a diverse range of high-quality residential and commercial projects within a collaborative, design-led studio setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and complete construction documentation.
  • Support design development, ensuring designs are practical, buildable, and compliant with regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and maintain high standards.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Conduct site surveys and attend site visits or inspections when needed.
  • Stay up to date with building regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Architectural Technician.
  • Degree or relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, construction techniques, and detailing.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • Detail-focused, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
