Senior / Principal Engineer – Energy Conversion

We’re recruiting for experienced Senior or Principal Engineers with a strong background in energy conversion projects. This role offers the chance to work on high-impact programmes shaping the future of power generation and energy systems.

We’re especially keen to hear from candidates with consultancy experience
, though we welcome strong engineers from industry too.

• Lead and deliver technical work across power generation, renewables, waste-to-energy, hydrogen, and biofuels projects
• Carry out design, modelling and feasibility analysis for energy conversion and storage systems
• Guide multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers
• Provide technical leadership to clients, ensuring quality outcomes and innovative solutions
• Support proposals and strategy development, contributing to the growth of the energy business

• 8+ years’ experience in energy generation / conversion projects
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, energy systems and plant performance analysis
• Experience with modelling tools such as Aspen Plus, EBSILON, or Thermoflex (or similar)
• Chartered Engineer (or working towards) in Mechanical, Chemical, Process or Energy Engineering
• Excellent client engagement, project leadership and cross-discipline collaboration skills
