Our client is a specialist engineering design company delivering complex clean and wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to increased project demand, they are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their Manchester team on a contract basis.

This role offers the chance to work on technically challenging schemes within a flexible, well-supported design environment.

The Role

As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will:

Lead and deliver civil design packages for clean and wastewater projects

Produce and check detailed designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications

Provide technical oversight and support to junior engineers

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders

Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and client requirements

About You

You will have:

A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

Ideally strong experience in clean and/or wastewater infrastructure design

Proven ability to deliver projects to programme and budget

Proficiency with industry-standard design tools and software

Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, delivery-focused mindset

Chartered status or working towards chartership is desirable but not essential for this contract role.
