Senior Quantity Surveyor - Rail

We are recruiting for two Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our civil engineering organisation  deliver safe, sustainable and efficient transport solutions across the UK, working on large rail projects and Access for All schemes in the North West, Central region, West Midlands and Buckinghamshire/Greater London. Candidates based in these areas, or able to commute, are welcome.

• Robust commercial management of a variety of projects, overseeing financial performance, managing costs, conducting procurement processes and maintaining accurate financial logs and reports.
• Work closely with customers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and achieving business plan commitments.
• Take ownership of your own project and collaborate closely with the commercial team at other sites to identify efficiencies.

• Practical experience in a quantity surveying role in a civil engineering environment, working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.
• NEC Contracts experience is essential.
• Experience working on a Network Rail Framework is advantageous.

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related course (or equivalent qualification).
• Hold or working towards a professional membership with a recognised body such as RICS or CICES (desirable).
• CSCS card holder (desirable).
