Love buildings, data, and saving the planet (without wearing a cape)? We’re on the lookout for a Principal Sustainability Consultant to join a growing Sustainability Team in Manchester.

This is a hands-on, influential role where you’ll help clients cut carbon, hit net zero targets, and stay on the right side of energy regulations — all while working on genuinely interesting projects.

What you’ll be getting stuck into:

* Helping clients turn sustainability ambitions into real, workable strategies

* Leading on Part L compliance and advising on UK energy regulations

* Delivering Energy & Sustainability Statements, Overheating Analysis (TM52/TM59), and performance modelling

* Carrying out Thermal Bridging calculations and Condensation Risk Analysis

* Auditing buildings and creating clear roadmaps to improve environmental performance

* Juggling multiple projects like a pro (no actual juggling required)

* Building strong relationships with clients and project teams

What we’re looking for:

* Solid experience in sustainability or energy consultancy

* Strong technical knowledge across Part L, overheating, condensation risk, and thermal bridging

* Confident using Design Builder

* A good grasp of UK energy regulations and building standards

* Someone who loves data but can also explain it without sending people to sleep

* Great communication skills and experience managing projects

* CIBSE accreditation (or working towards it) is a big plus
