The Role
As an Estimator / Tendering Engineer, you will support sales activity by preparing high-quality, commercially sound tenders and proposals.
Aiming to turn sales leads into profitable projects, you will produce accurate, competitive bids and maintain a strong understanding of technical and commercial conditions.
You will review detailed engineering tender packages, evaluate project viability from both technical and practical perspectives, and carry out site visits to ensure rate accuracy and proposal relevance.
Additionally, you will:
Manage communication with clients
Prepare price estimates, budgetary proposals, and formal bid submissions
Interpret client specifications and identify deviations where necessary
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
About You
To be considered for this position, you will need:
To have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience within a similar role or relevant degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
Experience with in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering environments is advantageous.
Experienced in the successful technical management and development of projects.
Competent in Microsoft Office Packages and experience using CRM systems for tracking proposals
To have an understanding of building cost models and pricing strategies
Salary Package:
Competitive salary - £45,000-£50,000
