Building Services / MEP Design Engineer Colchester (commutable from Ipswich, Chelmsford, Braintree, Tendring, Sudbury) 6 month  contract £40ph - £55ph  DOE Immediately available Are you an experienced MEP Design Engineer looking for an immediately available contract role? This is an opportunity to join a respected consultancy delivering bespoke design services, supporting projects from early concept through to detailed design and construction support.

The company has a growing portfolio of projects across the South East and requires an experienced MEP Designer to help with their growing portfolio. Thes successful candidate will have experience in mechanical, electrical and public health design, including HVAC systems, heating and cooling plant, ventilation, domestic water services, drainage layouts, lighting, power distribution, and associated building services. You will contribute to design reports, calculations and drawings while supporting coordination across other disciplines to deliver well integrated project outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Services Design Engineer to join the company on a potential long term contract basis.

The Role
* Produce coordinated MEP designs
* Design HVAC systems, heating and cooling plant, ventilation systems, domestic water services, lighting, small power and associated building services
* Develop calculations, drawings and technical documentation for concept, developed and detailed design stages

The Person
* Experience as an MEP Design Engineer within building services
* Strong working knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, heating and cooling systems, water services, lighting, and electrical distribution
* Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar building services software
