Management Accountant - Construction Logistics Business Trafford Park - £55,000 Your new company An outstanding opportunity for a driven and commercially sharp Management Accountant to join a thriving construction and logistics business. With a £70 million turnover and a solid foothold in the market, this role offers the chance to take a central role in shaping financial strategy and influencing performance at a key stage of growth.

Your new role You’ll be responsible for producing accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reports that give clear visibility into the business’s performance. You’ll analyse financial data and key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and turn those insights into practical recommendations that support decision-making. You’ll monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting any variances and working with the wider team to find ways to improve margins and boost cashflow.

You’ll also support financial analysis for new projects and investments, helping to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency gains. As part of your role, you’ll ensure compliance with accounting standards and work closely with external auditors during year-end. You’ll also take ownership of key balance sheet reconciliations, including stock valuations, ensuring accuracy and reliability across the board. What you'll need to succeed A qualified or part-qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE Strong analytical skills and a good eye for detail Comfortable working independently and communicating with senior stakeholders.

Solid Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems.
