Project Accountant Associate level

Project Accountant – 12 month fixed term contract (Associate level)

ERM is seeking a motivated Project Accountant to join our UK Business Unit to support the finance function with general project accounting duties. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and exciting global environmental leader. The role will be an initial 12‑month period covering an internal absence, with potential extension or permanent conversion depending on performance.

• Project set‑up
• Project reviews
• Reconciliations of project variances and WIP
• Analysis of project costs against budget
• Support Project Managers with DSO days by managing invoicing, AR, and related queries
• Set up and manage project trackers in Excel
• Ad‑hoc queries
• Reporting
• Provide ongoing training of Project Managers, Partners and Administrators in the use of GMS and other financial management tools

The role may involve some travel within the UK to other local offices. You must be professional, outgoing and approachable, building good relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
